2008 Membership categories
- £20.00 Annual individual membership
- Full membership with voting rights for any woman who supports the aims of the organisation.
- £5.00 Annual individual membership (low rate)
- For unwaged or low waged women with voting rights
- £30.00 Group Associate membership
- For organisations who wish to support the work of WLGS, including constituency level organisations of political parties, womens' organisations, political groups on councils, or national bodies. There is no voting entitlement with associate membership, and no need to show full support for our aims. Associate members will receive email newsletter updates and a chance to participate in activities.
- £30 is a mimimum fee for organisations wishing to affiliate in this way, and we hope that larger organisations will contribute a little more to help develop our work. We are happy to discuss sponsorship of our promotional material, publications, events, or of elements of this web-site, if organisations would prefer to support us direct in this way.
- £10.00 Individual Associate membership
- For individuals who wish to support the work of WLGS, but do not want, or are unable to participate as a voting member. Associate members will receive email newsletter updates.

Management Committee
WLGS is run by a management committee consisting of Chair, Secretary, Treasurer and three other members, elected annually at the AGM. They are responsible for taking decisions between member meetings and reporting back on progress in helping the organisation achieve its aims.
The current management committee, elected in Sheffield at the first AGM and re-elected unopposed at the 2008 AGM in Cambridge, are:
- Chair: Cllr Lesley Clarke, Conservative councillor on Wycombe District Council
- Secretary: Anne Baldwin, former Waltham Forest councillor
- Treasurer: Cllr Samantha Lloyd, Labour councillor on London Borough of Hackney
- Cllr Marianne Overton, Independent councillor on Lincolnshire County Council
- Cllr Dora Dixon-Fyle, Labour councillor on London Borough of Southwark
- Jessica Crowe, former Hackney councillor
WLGS Presidents
WLGS is also proud to have the support of three Presidents from each of the main political parties. They are:
